Chapter 32. A Curse and a Savior
Benson’s POV
I make my way to the exposed bar and pour myself a shot of alcohol. I sit in the red armchair in the dark office. Shadows dance around me, a dance fraught with torment with everything that has been happening in my kingdom.
I savor the bitter liquid in the glass for a few seconds, swirling the glass in my hand as I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders.
