Sophia's POV

I manage to open my eyes and see that he's at the foot of the bed, looking at us intently, his Daemon is in a state of alertness, at the same time as being curious, after all, he can't quite understand what's going on and for someone as old as him, that's a big deal. I also understand that he has a lot of questions for me, but he doesn't want to risk it just yet.

"I'm going out now, to try and be back by sunrise at the latest, only you three need to behave," Khalid said and smiled mischievously.

I let out a low laugh.

"Ideally, you should sleep in separate rooms, but I don't think Sophia will want that, or rather, I don't think the link will keep you apart. Just be careful." Khalid.

"Got it," Achilles spoke seriously and with determination.
