Gabriel nodded, glancing at Aiden who was fast asleep beside them. Then he asked, “Aiden will need to start kindergarten in September. Have you thought about which school to pick?”

There were tons of kindergartens in Banyan City—public, private, even elite ones. All kinds.

Lilah paused for a second. “Just find one with solid teachers. I’ll leave it to you.”

Some schools looked fancy but were a total mess when it came to actual teaching.

“Alright,” Gabriel said.

His gaze softened as he lowered his head and kissed the top of her head.

Lilah, however, looked like she was thinking hard. “Drop me off at Morning Dawn Apartments. I want to check in on Clara.”

Clara had always been a bit sensitive. Now, after everything that happened, someone had to be there for her.

“Okay,” Gabriel replied lowly, saying nothing more.

After dropping her at the apartments, Gabriel left. Aiden still had class that afternoon.
