Chapter 33
Elise felt like the ground had been pulled from beneath her feet. Her body felt sore all over, and an overwhelming stench tickled at her nostrils.
The groggy feeling and dry taste from her parched lips as she opened her eyes made her immediately squint when she saw the movement of a bonfire in her eyesight. She had no idea that she had been knocked out for a whole day.
It was her fault, she let her guard down back at the party and now she’s been taken to moon knows where.
She shoots up in an upright position but found that she was unable to move her hands freely. She saw herself tied to a tree while a group of over a dozen men conversed around a fire, all cheering and drinking into reckless abandon.
One whiff of them and Elise had never had an encounter with such a scent; these were not the same men that attacked and took her earlier; these were humans.
