The battlefield was a blood-soaked wasteland. The moon hung high, watching the chaos unfold as if it were some twisted spectator. Rasmus was a blur of destruction, his hulking form tearing through the waves of shadow beasts with savage force. His movements had become erratic, every strike fueled by a rage that had consumed him whole.
I struggled to rise, the ache of exhaustion pressing down on my bones. The power I had summoned earlier, the last of the Moon Goddess’s blessing, had drained me more than I realized. My legs trembled beneath me as I pushed myself up, my vision swimming, but I couldn’t stop now.
