Chapter 141. The Bracelet

The sky was fairly clear with only a few scattered clouds, but the streets were slightly wet from the rain which must've happened earlier, after I had returned and maybe when I was asleep.

Even though my parents used not to like me, one time on my birthday when i was still young, she gave me one of her bracelets. That birthday, Aurora was still alive and my mother kinda loved me.

It was an antique piece, holding value in our world. It was something she wanted me to have in case I was hopeless and there were times where I was, entirely hopeless, but even then I didn't sell the bracelet. I couldn't. It was all that mattered to me.

Even though she changed and started to hate me, I still didn't sell it.

It was a long time later till I reached the graveyard.

I could only find it as I remembered the two long residential buildings beside it which I had seen earlier, when the Alpha was taking me here.
