Chapter 140. Never Been Happier

Opening her closet, Scarlett stumbled upon a white dress. Her hand roamed the texture. She liked it and just looking at the gown, it was definitely her style. She took the dress out and showed it to her friends. "What do you think about this one?"

Avery and Cornelia looked at each other. "That was the dress she wore for the mating ceremony." Cornelia whispered. "We can't let her wear it. It has werewolves all over it. What if it reminds her of Simon?"

"What are you girls whispering about?" Scarlett was curious. Their behaviour has been like this ever since she came back from the hospital. They have been whispering to one another and keeping her out of conversations. Or even breaking their conversation when they get to a certain word. She was getting tired of it.

"You can't wear that dress." Cornelia stood up immediately and ran to her. She took the dress away from her. "You can't."

"Why not? I like that dress. It calls me and wants me to pick it."
