"Take care of what?" Scarlett asked. "And why am I on all fours? You're not supposed to come out tonight."

"What are you talking about?" Scarlett was confused. She'd just gone to bed and left Simon to party with Mace and the people he knows, only for Raven to appear. "What are we ending?" Scarlett asked.

"This is my revenge for Luna Agatha, Scarlett. Viggo has to die tonight."

"No. No. No. Don't do that. Raven, tonight is a holy night. Please don't mess this up for me. Didn't you hear what the head of the council said? Tonight, no blood must stain us. Can't you wait until tomorrow?"
