Training began the next day, just like I told Rex it would. Everywhere I turned, the field was alive, warriors sparring like their lives depended on it. Both Banished and pack members are together. No arguments, no friction. For now.

It surprised me to see them getting along so well, but it was enough to ease some of the tension in my chest. We couldn’t afford a divide right now.
