The way my heart clenched felt like it was being squeezed out. That pain , that unbearable ache I swore I’d never feel again after Maron’s death — detonated into blind rage the moment I hit my feet. I was going to kill Ron. For making me live this twice. For making us lose someone this close again for the sake of his blind revenge.
