Chapter 16. The Fifth Floor

Layla’s POV

“Don’t growl in here,” I snapped.

He grabbed my hand and turned around but the other guy was standing in front of him. He smiled at Kade and stepped closer.

“Sorry Alpha but she’s coming with us.” He said and his eyes started glowing but not normal. They were blue as ice and he smiled when he looked past Kade and locked eyes with me.

Kade growled and his fist went flying against the guys jaw.

Annas eyes finally opened and she stared bewildered at the scene in front of her. I reached out and grabbed her arm, pulling her after me.

All of the men I had seen earlier suddenly showed up again and covered the exits.

Kade turned his head quickly and cast me a glance.

“Do not move.” He growled and I listened. I pulled Anna closer so that her side was pressed against mine. The men were fighting but they all smiled even when they got hit. One of them that stood by the entrance through me a wink and then turned around. The other
