Chapter 232

The sun dipped beneath the horizon, casting long shadows across the empty street as Officer Martin steeled himself before the General's office building. His heart raced with a mixture of anxiety and determination as he stepped inside, heading towards the General's quarters.

Upon entering, Martin was greeted by the stern-faced secretary, who eyed him warily. "Can I help you?" she inquired, her tone curt and unwelcoming.
