She felt like number a one, watching her man go rogue on someone just to defend her. She was not an advocate for fights, but some bastards deserved a proper beating. “Are you still not leaving?” Ayana barked again when the idiot just stood there, throwing glances between her and Adam. No one could tell what he was thinking, but he sure was thinking about something. And the likes of him were always up to no good at all. Always!
Robert wiped the blood from her lips, forcing a sarcastic smirk through his pain. “Well, you always did have a talent for making the wrong choices. No doubt this is another one on your long list. I pity you,” Roberts said, massaging his jaw. He sounded worse than a broken record there.
