Samuel’s confusion slowly transformed into a mixture of emotions. Gratitude, curiosity, and a sense of connection started to dawn on him. Even though his memory was hazy, the presence of these two friends felt comforting.

The doctor spoke up, breaking the moment. “Samuel, you need to take it easy and rest for now. Your recovery is progressing well.”

Liya nodded in agreement. “He’s right. We’re here for you, Samuel.”
