“What do you mean she has no powers,”

I ask in confusion. “She is a Silver Wolf.”

“Being a Silver Wolf was not enough to grant her powers from Selene,”

Grace says simply. “She is simply a wolf with a silver coat. Nothing more, nothing less.”

“But then why did she run?”

Grace shakes her head at me and walks back over to her knitting. “That I cannot tell you,”

she said looping the yarn over the needle. “Only she knows why she ran. Even if we knew the answer we would never understand.”
