Ella POV

Winding through the green house tables I try to put as much distance as I can between Erebus and myself. His beautiful blue and green eyes have swirled completely to black orbs, and I can feel his anger radiating off of him in waves.

He stalks me around the tables slowly. “What are you running from, Vixen?” ? His voice is low and gruff.

Lifting my skirt I travel further back into the greenhouse while the sound of the rare winter rain beats down on the glass above me. “I’m not running from anything,”

I lie.

“You could have fooled me,” he growls slowly and in an instant he is standing in front of me blocking my way.

“You kissed Vanessa,”

I say quietly, not daring to look up into his black eyes.

“She forced herself on me,”

The irritation is apparent in his voice. “She has been banned from seeing me or you ever again. If you don’t believe me, ask my guards.”
