Erebus POV

“Alpha,”

a voice chimes off in my head through the mind link. “There is a witch here at the gate claiming to be Luna’s grandmother.”

“Is her name Grace?”

I respond quickly. I should have known that she would know exactly when to show up.

“Yes Alpha, her name is Grace,”

the guard responds.

“Bring her to me at once,”

I yell loudly through the link.

Grace bursts through the hospital room door and stares at the runes on Ella’s arms that are glowing brighter by the moment. “Are you trying to kill her?”

She glares at me. “She needs to be in the moonlight so she can shift.”

“Shift?”

Grace must be losing her mind, there are much more important things to worry about right now.

“Yes, shift,”

she grumbles hurriedly. “It is the only way to free her.”
