Chapter 44. The Fight
Ellie's POV
He gently drops me on the ground, goes to fetch the door for me and ushers me inside, slams the door shut and jumps into the driver's seat. Without uttering a single word once more, he starts the car, and as he beastly pulls out of the parking lot, I almost let out a loud scream. I'm afraid to ask anything because I doubt he will even answer.
As he accelerates out onto the main road, I just grasp onto my safety belt tightly and briefly murmur a short prayer that he doesn't cause an accident. I would rather return home and beg my disgusting ghost fiance to wed me than die at such a young age, and in the hands of a stranger.
"Come on. We are here." I am woken up by his voice.
