WHATEVER IT TAKES

Jane's POV

The look in his eyes showed how disgusted he was by my behavior. I shouldn't have brought her up, I shouldn't have said anything about her to him. It was mere luck that I found him after all those years, and he actually spoke to me and even accepted to have a drink with me.

I got so excited and ahead of myself. I couldn't hide the excitement and the fact that I finally saw him. I missed him, I missed his smile, his kisses and his hot sex. I missed everything about him. I don't know why I even broke up with him, he was perfect.

"Ma'am! Here is your coffee." The cute red-haired barista behind the counter jolted me back to reality and away from my thoughts. 

I stared at her, looking confused. I had totally forgotten I ordered coffee. She smiled at me, looking so impatient and repeated the words she said to me earlier.

"Here is your coffee, ma'am." She said with a smile.
