Chapter 103. Trapped

After an hour, they arrived at his office.

Priya stopped crying, appearing much better than she had at home.

He stepped out of his car and opened the door for Priya. "Come down, sweetheart," he smiled, speaking softly.

Priya looked up, seeing him smiling and acting so gently, a stark contrast from his usual behaviour.

Did he hit his head somewhere? She questioned internally.

"Sweetheart, come down," Priyank repeated, noticing her lost in thought, gazing blankly at him.
