Chapter 66. Three Weeks Earlier in Liberum

Holly just said goodbye to Gabriel and heads back inside to discuss plans with Nolan and Zeus. The big table feels empty with just the three of them sitting there. They are all silent for a while and lost in their own thoughts.

Zeus breaks the silence first, “I have been thinking how to reclaim an advantage now that Hades knows about the dragons. We should use our time to develop new weapons or something. Anyone any ideas?”

Holly frowns, “Mmm we have a lot of different ordinary weapons, but they won’t do much good against demons. If there was only some kind of spell to capture light magic so we could make bombs and weapons with the light on them. Then the common soldiers would have a chance against a demon and the sky army can drop the bombs from the air.”

Zeus looks at her intrigued, “That is actually a really good idea. I don’t think such a spell exists, but I can try to invent one.
