Aito thought for a while then said; "I had a strong bond with Sakura and Yua. We were very close. Although I had a fling with Sakura once, it never went past that." A thought suddenly came to him and he sat up in a panic. "Wait, is that what this is all about? Did I have anything to do with their deaths? Is that the traumatic thing I experienced? Am I the reason they died?"

"What no!" Kaito quickly said. "No that's not it. Calm down"

"Are you sure?" Aito asked, not convinced. "I recall when Yua told me she loves me and tried to convince our parents to get us married." He turned to his mum. "Mum, Yua didn't do anything to herself because I rejected her, did she?"

Mrs Yamamoto forced back her tears as she recalled the way Mr Igarashi murdered Yua and her unborn child. But then, the girl was one of the people that made her son suffer. If Yua hadn't ruined the relationship between her son and Aera, they'd be perfectly fine now. She stood up and went to sit beside Aito.
