"Do you know of any places hiring part time?" Addie asked.

"Baby you don't need to work. Besides, if you work and I work, we may not get to spend much time together. And it won't be long before the baby is here and you'd have to quit anyway." Edge explained.

"I guess you're right. I didn't want you to think I was relying on you to pay everything." Addie replied.

"I don't think that. And if you get bored, you can visit me, or go out with the old ladies in the club. A few of them have babies. Maybe they'll let you practice with thiers. They'd probably jump at the chance for some help." Edge laughed.

"Ok. I can visit Miranda at her shop too. I used to do that at home. We'd chat while she painted." Addie explained.

The first week went by fast. Addie busied herself with cleaning the home and putting their stuff away. She cooked and cleaned which she enjoyed. It helped her take her mind off Edge being gone.
