"Is there a problem, Alpha?" he asked, his brow furrowed with concern.

Before Noah could respond, his phone shattered the silence, its ring piercing the air like a siren. He hesitated for a moment, his gut telling him that this call was not going to be good news. With a sense of trepidation, he answered, his voice firm but cautious. 

"Hello?"

The voice on the other end was cold, detached, and sent a chill down Noah's spine. 

"If you want your sister alive, come get her." The line went dead, leaving Noah staring at his phone in horror.

His heart racing, he immediately dialed Maya's number, but it bounced back, a harsh reality hitting him like a ton of bricks. Maya was unreachable, and the gravity of the situation hit him like a punch to the gut.<
