Chapter 32

Hazel could be seen sleeping, the rest left already and it was only Noah with her 

Noah sat beside Hazel's bed, his eyes fixed on her peaceful face. He gently brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch soft and gentle.

“Don’t you think you should go take a rest” Hazel opened her eyes 

“I can’t leave you all alone here, I’ll stay till Naya comes back” Noah replied 

Hazel's eyes softened, her voice barely above a whisper. "You've been here for hours, Noah. You need to take care of yourself too."

Noah's expression was resolute. 

"I'm not leaving your side, Hazel. Not until you're fully recovered and back on your feet."

Hazel's face filled with gratitude.

 "Thank you, Noah. Just knowing you're here makes me feel safer."

Noah's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "That's what I'm here for, Hazel. To protect and support you, always."
