“Good morning, hospital favorite.”

“Good morning, Mr. Know-it-all.”

Meredith is happy to be back in the hospital but less happy that her first encounter is with Dr. Henshaw. 

“I heard you were giving a day off for saving a life as if that’s not what you’re being paid for,” Dr. Henshaw quips. He has made it his life’s mission to annoy Meredith, and it works every single time. 

Meredith hesitates to respond, trying to think of a response that has as much gravity to hurt Dr. Henshaw as the one he told her, but that is not one of the things she is good at.
