Chapter 2. Wanting
My mind has been occupied since yesterday. I don’t know, but I can’t stop thinking about everything that happened. It’s glued in my mind.
I sighed heavily and sat down on the bench table. We are now in front of an immense soccer field. The air ambiance here is nice. It’s good to hang out here during our vacant time.
I was brought back to my senses when Jen dropped the frappe and egg sandwich she had bought for me. I waited for them here.
“That’s all I bought. I don’t really like the food in the cafeteria.” Jen said as she sat down next to me.
Jen’s attitude depends on your behavior. Be good and she’ll be good to you. Be nasty, then go ahead and see hell for yourself. Kylie, on the other side, was very observant. She will notice your every action.
“Next time, let’s go to Starbucks or McDonald’s instead,” I suggested.
I was interrupted when Kylie heaved violently.
“Gosh! Look at this!” Jen frowned and hovered her eyes at her phone. I just took a bite of my sandwich and drank the frappe.
“What’s that?” I asked. They are reading something on the cellphone.
“About Damon Montemayor, the guy yesterday.” I raised my brows.
“It was an article stating that Sebastian was going to be the heir to the property of Montemayors. He is the real son of Don Antonio Montemayor.”
“And the one you bumped into yesterday was Don Antonio’s son with another woman!”
Oh wow, what a gossip it is.
It’s pretty shocking, yet I just listened to them quietly. Less talk, less mistake.
“They look so much alike. The face is the same, as well as the body. No doubt that they come from one gene! A good one.”
“Yeah, right.” Jenner approved.
I rolled my eyes. Why do they want to waste time talking about the lives of others?
“Why are you quiet, Nat?” Comment by Kylie.
“I’m bored,” I answered.
“Really? Or maybe you liked Damon?” She joked.
Jen laughed. “Is that love at first sight, Nat?” Jen teased.
Did I like him? Yes, who wouldn’t? Do I want to entertain the feeling? Hell no!
“Love my ass, Jen,” I shrugged. “Crush and love is not my thing. It’s a problem.” It’s true. Everyone who loves got hurt. The word pain seems the same as the word love, and I am not ready for that.
“Oh well, let’s see.”
“Shut up,” I groaned.
“Geeez, why do you have to be so grumpy?” Jen is right.
“Yes, I am grumpy.” I snorted and she just laughed.
“Okay, chill!” Kylie just shook her head.
I leaned my neck against the back of the bench. There are still twenty minutes left in our break. I face the soccer field only to see that Damon is there. He’s with someone and I think he’s being teased. Only irritation can be seen on his face.
Damn, he’s so tall and with his skin so tanned, he’s really captivating from afar. My heart started to pound!
That’s what I haven’t understood since yesterday? Why do I feel this way?
I closed my eyes to stop my emotions, but I saw his emotionless eyes staring right at me when I opened them. It was as if I was hypnotized that I could no longer avoid it.

My first class was at 8:30 in the morning. My last subject in the afternoon was until 3 o’clock. We just finished our last subject and we are now walking down the hallway to the locker. I felt like I need to go to the bathroom.
“You guys go first,” I said goodbye to my friends.
I headed down the hallway and to another long one just to go to the comfort room. Why does this university have to be so big? The hallway was empty and so when I heard a noise, I knew it was a growl, rather from a man and woman. What the actual fuck was that?
“Oh! Fuck!” He groaned.
“Ah! Shit! Sir! Come on!” The woman growled.
Although I am a virgin, I am not a saint. Can’t they afford a hotel to do such outrage? Are they not ashamed? I was fucking disgusted!
My system shook as I approached the room’s door, where I heard the noises.
Am I unlucky now? Because as soon as I passed, the door opened! I was taken aback when the woman I didn’t know came out. I raised my brows and looked at her. She was beautiful. Her short skirt was slightly raised and the sleeveless dress was crumpled.
Seriously? Is she studying here?
“Hey! Are you peeping?!” she shouted. I couldn’t answer when someone had already come out of the room.
At first glance, it looks like Damon, but when you look closely, he’s not.
He looked at me coldly.
“No. I just passed by. Your moans were just so loud not to capture attention.” She rolled her eyes at me.
“Don’t mind her, Sebe,” she said.
Sebe. I knew it. He stared at me intently.
“Don’t worry, what I heard will be just between me, you, and your boyfriend,” I said, letting out a smirk.
I was surprised when Sebe laughed. “Sorry. I don’t do the girlfriend thing.”
I knew it, but what the heck?
Embarrassment showed on her face. She blushed and had no words to say.
I want to laugh!
“I’ll go now,” I said.
I didn’t know that such scenarios were happening inside this university.
“I’m Sebastian, by the way.” Seriously? He even held out his hand. My heart pounded at his introduction.
“Natalia,” I pointed down the hallway. “I need to go.”
When I entered the bathroom, there was no one. I turned on the faucet and washed with my thoughts still on the events minutes ago. Why is my chest throbbing so much?
I took the handkerchief from my bag and wiped my face.
I first went into the cubicle and peed. Finally! This was all I wanted to do, for god sake!
“He fucking fucked me and denied me as his girlfriend in front of someone else!” Oh my god, not again.
“You know Sebe, don’t you? He’ll never be serious to anyone. Why do you think you will be taken seriously, then?” The girl laughed.
“You, bitch!” said the other one.
‘You’re right. She really is a bitch.’ I thought.
I couldn’t stand it anymore, so I went out of the cubicle and simply looked in the mirror next to them. They eventually shut their mouths.
I finger-combed my hair and came out without looking at them. I almost sucked back when I saw Sebe standing against the hallway wall, both hands in his pockets. He looked at me deeply in the eyes for about a minute, as if wanting to say something, then left.
What was that?
