Chapter 37. He’s Listening

‘When he left Shawn and I talked.

“Are you okay?”

I ate very little. I lost my appetite. I don’t seem to have moved on from what happened earlier. This is the First time I saw him cry. It almost tore my heart apart. Is it right for me to push him away? Am I right in using my pride?

Knowing Sebe if he was angry, he was really angry. Worst he’s driving. Where is he staying here in Iloilo? Who is with him?

After our lunch, Shawn drove me home immediately. I almost floated. I can’t speak.

“Rest,” Shawn ordered not to enter my unit.

I only nodded in response. When I entered, I immediately went to bed.

I didn’t realize that I had fallen asleep. I woke up to the sound of my cellphone nonstop. I got up and rummaged in my bag.

Shawn Calling. There are also calls from mama and Kylie.

I answered it immediately.

“Hello, Shawn?” I still yawned.

“God! Finally, you answer!” He gasped I heard the noise on the other line.
