Chapter 114. Night of Blood

Alpha Logan's POV 

“Rogues!” Selene's voice warned. But it was a warning that had come too late.

Even as I stepped out of my room, a bunch of them charged towards me. Rogues, with their fur matted and eyes wild attacked me. 

How had they breached our defences? I wondered as I fought them off, my form shifting fluidly and lingering between half-wolf and half-human.

Only one possibility gnawed at me —Lillian…

With my claws extended and my teeth baring I fought the rogues, bashing one's head to a wall across and crushing the neck of another with my feet.

One at a time, their body fell, lying lifeless and sprawled on the stony floors, painting it red with their blood.

Hurriedly, I dashed down the stairs. It was chaos as the rogues were everywhere, attacking my people. I moved to ward off one from an aged female wolf, kicking it away with so much force he was sent flying across the stairs.
