Carlos's POV

I had mentioned to them about the pressure my father had been giving me to run the company. Even making me work alongside my education.

Issahil flashed me a delighted smile. “That's great to hear, Carlos.” I returned her smile.

Freya's eyes sparkled with excitement in the next second and our eyes turned to her. “Guess what?” She rode on our suspense and while I was indifferent, Issahil rolled her eyes at her and Nica glared at her. 

Giggling, Freya apologized. “I am sorry.” And then she added in a very excited tone. “The movie producer I have been working with, the one who helped me rise to fame. Nica has met him…”

“Yeah I have, he is young, handsome and rich. Your kind of man. What did he do, girl?”

Freya nodded. “Well, he has asked me out.”

Nica and Issahil squealed with joy, and I couldn't help letting out a sigh.

Elena. I missed her so much. Her smile. Her voice. Her fragrance…
