Just like what I told Enver, I cooked food for him and went to his office.

And since Ferry and Castiel were already at my apartment, I told them to watch over Millie for a while. Well, they just slept with my daughter right after they cried so hard because of our drama earlier.

“You are really here,” Enver said as I entered his office. He looked surprised, especially when he saw the paper bag in my hand.

“I told you I will bring you food.” I put it on his table. “Did you finish your work?”

He nodded and showed me the folder in front of him. “This is the last one. Lucien is also here and dropped this.”

I took it and started reading its content. “This is not urgent so you can do this on Monday.” I put it back on his shelf. “And you will eat this.” I place the lunch box that contains the food I cooked. “It was just a simple pork and vegetable dish with rice.”

He smiled. “Did I ever mention that I also miss the food that you cook?”

“No,” I said.
