Blair’s POV
My personal shopper ushered me behind a curtain to reveal racks of clothing she claimed to have selected for me. How she’d managed to guess my size was beyond me. I hadn’t bothered to check the label on anything in months.
“Mr. Roman said you need work clothes. He specified short sleeves,” Hana, my shopper, announced, darting between racks. We were an odd pair. She was a sleek, platinum-haired woman in her thirties, dressed in skin-tight leather pants and a silky mini-dress. I, on the other hand, was…well, different. Still, to my surprise, the clothes she’d picked out seemed to align with my taste.
Nathan was being unusually patient, and Ronnell wanted me to do this, so I would perhaps humor him and play this game. Maybe I could buy one or two things, but that was a big maybe. Then I caught a glimpse of the price tag, and it was an immediate no. Who paid six hundred dollars for just a dress?
