“Is that what I'm here for? A stupid apology over a past you made happen with your friend Jerome?” I quirked a brow, trying not to show my annoyance.

“I cannot be sorry for that enough. I was young and foolish.”

“It was six years ago, idiot. Not sixteen years ago. How young could you be when you already were a married man?” I sneered.
