“Why did you want to see me?” I was all stern and business the moment I spotted him sitting at a lonely spot in the gardens of that hotel I'd had the mistake of meeting him. I wondered why he kept wanting us to meet here.

“I cannot be sorry for that enough. I was young and foolish.”

“It was six years ago, idiot. Not sixteen years ago. How young could you be when you already were a married man?” I sneered.
