Chapter 6. First Salary

"Aryan, what does this mean? You transferred more than our agreement?" Laura displayed a bank statement showing a transfer of 20 million into her bank account.

"Just consider it a bonus for playing your role so well!" Aryan replied casually, then continued sipping his own coffee. He was annoyed because Laura had successfully played a prank on him yesterday.

"Why aren't you drinking the coffee I made for you?" Laura asked when she saw Aryan holding a cup of coffee, even though the coffee she made was still untouched on the dining table. Aryan just shrugged and was about to leave, leaving Laura by the poolside.

"Okay, I'm sorry for my mistake yesterday," Laura said, folding her hands in front of her chest and looking at Aryan earnestly. Once again, Aryan remained indifferent and walked away, making Laura feel embarrassed.
