I walk over, placing the plate in front of him and smiling. I have so many witty remarks to say, but I shouldn’t antagonise Georgina any more than I already have.Giving everyone a plate of food, I sit down, and we begin to eat. It is silent. No one wanting to talk and break it, knowing that if we do, there is a chance it will cause the argument to continue.
“So, I’m your man, am I?” Marcus breaks the silence, and Jackson starts laughing,
“I feel so privileged. I must say, Alena, but can I ask what other special treatments I get?” He winks at me. I laugh, shaking my head. Great. It is like he is trying to make Georgina snap and start again.
“How fucked up is that?” Georgina’s whisper to Liam is not so quiet. I will just ignore her, and I guess, annoy her more.
“Keep going the way you are, Marcus, and it might just be your collar I am wearing.” I laugh, then realise what I just said.
