Walking upstairs, they are both sitting up, playing in their cribs.

“Good morning, princesses.” I pick up Katy, kissing her, getting her changed while laughing at her. After she is ready, I put her back in the crib, taking out Isabella, getting her dressed and ready like I did with Katy.

“Who wants pancakes?” I smile at them, tickling their stomachs.

“Me, Me, Me.” Isabella laughs, clapping her hands.

Katy, however, folds her arms and pouts. “No.”

Well, I guess she doesn’t want pancakes. Taking them downstairs, I start cooking their breakfast. Jackson has already left. After the girls have breakfast, Georgina shows up.

“Hey, how are things now?” She sits down at the table.

“Good, just getting on with things.” I smile, feeling genuinely happy.
