Selene Love Story

Far up there, on the moon, the Moon Goddess observes and cares for her moon children, the werewolves, the vampires. She loves humans too, but they were too eccentrically plain. 

She had her favorites too. Some living their lives on Earth, some with her, in the werewolf realm. They found it safe with her, in the werewolf realm, as it possessed no actual danger. 

Hunters were everywhere, and some brave wolfs died fighting against them, for their clan or families. They've died a great death and gained access to the most purest realm to ever exist, to live in the procession of the Moon Goddess. 

Though, her favorite child was the elemental- Ronald Hoffman. 

His destiny was laced with prophecy, he could change the world. 

Or precisely, help the world from the darkness beginning to cover the Earthy realm by its dark clouds of evil and gore. 

The Devil was to rise. 

It would've been a D-day if it wasn't for the elemental to be born...

Ronald's POV 

Good morning to mother Earth. Good morning to my beautiful body which works so hard, despite being the creature the humankind loathes. And lastly, good morning to my handsome face.

I grin into my mirror and cheer with the chirping birds, after all, I'm the one who can communicate with species, something which no one else dared to. Well, they never can. They aren't ELEMENTAL, unlike my lucky self.

"Ronnie! Stop admiring yourself and help your mother now, would you?!" ah...my old lady. I happily scoff and wriggle my wrists in air, my body rising and floating amidst the door frame and I lazily ascend downstairs to my mother.

"Yes, mother?" my voice says it all. I don't want to be here, in the kitchen, helping my old lady cut up veggies. Nuh-uh.

"Cut these for me plea– oh" she didn't finish her sentence, instead of cutting off herself when I raise the disgusting greens and reds and yellows in the air and slice them up with swift air slashes.

"Thank...you? Well there's something else you'll have to help me with~"

"Aw naw! Mom!"

That's how most of my days start with, or what seems to be similar to it. Surrounded with love and care, and I wish for nothing more for this lone werewolf life.

Oh how the tables have turned, my friend. You've been winning for the past 3 rounds, now it's just my turn, isn't it?

Aaand.... 

"UNO! UNO UNO UNO! AH YEAH!~" I begin screeching like a girl at my victory. 

"Ronnie, it's okay to celebrate your failure at times. Sit down, well play another game." Dan said, feeling 'sour' on my win. 

"Oh Dan, it's okay to feel sour at your friend's victory you know." I mock him back, a scoff the only response I get from him. I begin to dance over the clouds as he throws my deck of cards and places a card on the carpet. 

"My turn~" I sing. 

"Sure, go ahead loser." that ticks me off. I flick my wrist and make the air slap his head, successfully making him feel annoyed. 

"Stop it Ron!! Or I'm gonna tell mom you're using your powers in this way!" whoohoo is the cub threatening the lion? But no, I certainly do not want that to happen. Mom's can be very furious if they're given the chance, and I'm not giving her a single one to beat me to pulp. 

Yeah, whatever, I'm a mama's boy. So what huh?

"Ha! Draw four crazy boy." I make another poker face at Dan for punishing me with a wild card. I hesitantly draw four cards and wait for my turn, my mind screaming at me. I've always been a sore loser at card games, ugh. 

"Boys~ time for practice! Chop chop" oh boy I never loved my mother more. I giggle like a girl and throw the cards on Dan's face, making him yell and curse at me as I laugh my bottoms off, my mom's scoldings heard in the background. 

We finally clear everything from my room's floor and pack our duffel bags for football practice. 

Our wolf pack is very huge, the largest in our country, and it's almost overwhelming to be known and greeted by so many on just going to the football ground and back. 

Oh the girls, don't make me start at that. They're becoming way more annoying that they used to be. Always trying to throw themselves on me, or worse....seducing me to get into my ruts. 

A shiver runs down my spine at that vivid memory. 

If it wasn't for Dan, I would've... 

Fine. Mood spoiler. 

Back to the scenario, we reach the football ground and almost make a run for the gate, trying to escape all the thirsty girls trying to get on us. 

"Oof! We're safe now." we punch our fists and laugh evilly. Finally, we can be at peace while playing. 

"Hi Ron!"

"Hey Ronnie my man!" 

"Yo Ronnie! Nice shoot yesterday man!"

"Thanks guys, really, it was nothing. I'm just a player. I'm sure y'all can do it too." I bro hug my teammates, and the game starts at our coach's instructive whistle. 

Left, left! Yes correct! My teammate passes the ball and I drop it from my chest, immediately working with my feet being quick and vigilant. 

A few more meters... 

"Come on Ron!" 

And shoot!

"TEAM MOON WINS A POINT!" oh damn yes we did. I punch the air and get on with our practice. That was a nice shot!

"Come on! Come on boys! On the line quickly!" our coach calls out for another round. We stare into the opponents' eyes harshly, almost like downing their pride, which actually isn't quite legal. 

W-what..... 

Is that...? 

I sniff the air again, just to be sure. 

Wait. How old am I again?

"Ron...?" 

"I-I think my mate is here...."

"What nonse- oh...but the game! Dude!" 

But I've already run off, away from the football ground, outside. 

To the sauna.
