Chapter 55

Liam was sleeping with Selena in his arms when he heard some movement at a distance. It was instances like this that he liked who he was. He liked that he was a werewolf in times such as these. He listened to the movement for about a minute more before he decided to be on the offensive; he had his female to protect, after all.

He gently laid Selena down to rest and set wards up to protect her while he went to see what lay ahead of him that evening.

He did not need to go far before he picked he scent of sulfur, there was no way that what was heading towards him and his female was not danger. He quickly camouflaged the truck and waited in the shadows for whatever or whoever was coming.
