Chapter 115

After a few hours, she was woken up by Kie. Her eyes fluttered open and she made eye contact with Aiden’s wife. 

“You should eat, I made some plantain soup,” Kie said in a gentle tone as she flashed the omega a smile. 

Clary swallowed in an attempt to soothe her dry throat. When she sat up, she saw that her mom was awake and eating. 

“Clary, you have to try this, It’s amazing!” Sarah said in a very strong and excited voice. 

Clary felt relieved to see her mom lively, it was a great sight to see. “Okay, okay,” She chuckled faintly. 

Kie handed the bowl of soup to Clary and flashed her a warm smile before leaving the room. 

The soup was hot and steam rose from it so Clary was tentative of putting some in her mouth, not wanting to burn herself.

“Come on, don’t be a baby, it’s not that hot,” Her mom teased her. 

Clary could not help but laugh. “Wh-what? Don’t you see the steam coming out from this thing?
