Chapter 83

When the Chariot reached our destination, we got down. The tall glass building stood before us and I exhaled deeply. We walked into the building and then into the lobby. Zayn checked in because he worked here and we walked into the elevator.

When we reached the top floor, we met Bunny waiting for us when we had not even walked out of the elevator yet. 

“Took you two forever.” She sighed. “Now let’s go.”

“Why the rush? It’s just a meeting.” I said but Zayn kept quiet. Although he was quiet, he looked much more relaxed than he was yesterday. Yesterday, he looked like he was going to have a heart attack at any minute.

“I told you that we had someone that we met in the war room, and you two are not going to believe who it is.” Bunny opened the glass door of the office and we walked in. Julia, Hamish, and Azula were there but another person sat at the last seat at the conference table.

Bunny was right. I thought I was not going to be surprised and taken aback
