Chapter 82

The guy that had his feet up on the desk finally put them down and he stood to his feet. “Zayn, great, you’re back. I was taking care of the city while you were gone.” He winked, and Zayn looked like he was going to push the guy.

I stepped in before he could do so because no one was going to try to stop Zayn. If anything, Bunny and the others looked like they were enjoying the show. 

“Hey, I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to be in here right now,” I told the General and he scoffed.

“Why not?” He tried to argue, causing Zayn to clench his jaw. Zayn was a patient guy but the past few days really did a number on him and he was losing his cool steadily.

“Because I’m going to beat you to your death if you don’t freaking leave,” Zayn snapped, and the guy took that as a hint. He left quickly and Zayn visibly relaxed. 

“What in the world is going on?” Julia was confused but she had no right to because she had told me that all this would have happened.
