Chapter 20

Evelyn Holder’s POV

I just took a shower, I put my white top that shows my belly a little bit, gray skinny jeans and a black blazer and a clutch of course. I curled my hair loosely and put my white vans shoes. I put on a couple of bracelets on my hand so it’s not too plain.

It’s 9:45. In 15 minutes Alex will pick me up. I can’t believe he likes me in that way. He’s such a bluff. Yesterday was the most confusing. Seth appeared again, that guy. I don’t care anymore, I already move on anyway.

I went down and waited for Alex downstairs. My brother is busy with a pile of paper. I walked to him, and sat in front of him.

“What are you doing?”

“Just doing my job being the next owner, I’m stressing out right now.” He chuckled.

“Want me to make you a milkshake?” Evan always likes my milkshake, he can drink 3 big cups of it. He said it’s the best milkshake ever.

“Please.” He looked at me with his puppy eyes. Oh well I just made 3 cups, one for my broth
