“Shocker,” Sasha said sarcastically and picked up a menu.

“What happened?” Indianna wondered.

“She nearly killed me,” Brooke said casually and grinned at Sasha.

“I did not! It was an accident!” Sasha gasped. She looked mortified.

Brooke laughed. “It was an accident. A wolf decided to run in front of our car, and we crashed into a tree.”

“It was horrible. I thought you were going to die!” Sasha said.

“Part of the tree lodged into my stomach,” Brooke explained. “It was all very messy and bloody.”

“And Harry still blames me,” Sasha said. “Moody bastard.”

Brooke chuckled. “Sorry,” she said.

Sasha rolled her eyes. “I’m going to order some food,” she said and stood up from the booth.
