JUNE

“Don't say that, June!”

“Why? You don't seem to want me anymore, so I'm leaving!” I pushed him off me and ran out of the house.

“Doll!” He called out to me, running towards me as I tried to outrun him. This late at night, only a few people were out on the street.

“June!”

Before I could run out of his property, to the street, he caught up with me and wrapped his hand around my waist as a form of restraint.

“Let me go!” I thrashed, crying out as I tried to get out of his grip. “Let me go!”

“You need to calm down, June.” He carried me back into the house while I tried to get him to let me go.

“Let me go, you caveman!” I kicked like crazy. “I don't wish to return to your fucked-up house! You can't force me to do that!” I cried out.

I yelled so loud, trying to get him to let me go, but he seemed hell-bent on holding me tight until I gave up.
