"What?" I quirked my brow and looked around in a bid to pretend I didn't know what Edith was talking about. We had just quietly walked away from June's door after the entire episode, and Edith had, undoubtedly, heard the thing about the panties.

Every damn day raises more issues to talk about.

"The last thing she said," Edith mused and knitted her brows in thought. "What did she say about her panties? Whose panties, anyway?"

Shit, how wouldn't she hear when June pointed it out like a fucking commercial for everyone to hear?!

"Oh, that?" I chuckled nervously and cleared my throat. "What did you say she said again?"

"I think I heard something about you doing something to her—"

"Oh, that!” I chuckled nervously again. “She is probably talking about the help with her
