Chapter 45. An Apology and a Thanks

Yeon Jin returned to the room where Seo Jae was still under the supervision of a doctor who continued to monitor his heat. However, when Yeon Jin came in, the doctor, as well as a nurse who was ordered by him, immediately left, leaving Yeon Jin alone with Seo Jae.

"How is his condition?"

"We have been given a high dose of suppressant. We will leave, but if anything happens, you can contact us immediately." The doctor said as he excused himself to leave the room, leaving Yeon Jin alone with Seo Jae.

After being left by the doctor and nurse, Yeon Jin pulled out a chair and sat right beside the bed. He touched Seo Jae's hand and kissed it several times.
