Chapter 33. Similar Outfits

Ricardo was already at the gathering, it was an evening party after a fashion show. One of his friends invited him as the guest of honor. He would rather not attend, however, with the current situation. He was obliged to do so.

“You don't know how many of these people want to see you,” the man who hosted the party said. Between chuckles, Ricardo smiled faintly and glanced around the party hall, people were having a good time. Some were dancing, while others were chatting among themselves.

“And I'm glad to be here… you did a good job,” Ricardo complimented his friend. The party hall was yet to be filled, but he could see some important men and women who owned the fashion industry. Some he knew and others he didn't.

“It's good to have you and to think I was going to meet your wife, Ricardo,” the man said while playing with the glass in his hand. Ricardo was a little uncomfortable but smiled even more. Julien was a fun man to associate with, he was just 30 years old.
