Chapter 89. Reward Her

Alana had lunch with Brigitte and Joslyn. She was the first one to head home earlier than Ricardo. She got informed that he had an emergency meeting. Alana knew it was a good thing because after what had been happening. She wanted to do something different.

“But ma'am we are…” the two chefs said once Alana told them she would make dinner.

“You can help me, but I'll make dinner, don't worry,” she said while putting on an apron. The two people stared at her surprisingly. Alana knew she did this all of a sudden, but for some reason, she wanted to make something for Ricardo. It had been a while since she cooked for him.

“I'm not going to fire you…your job is safe,” Alana chuckled when she glanced at the two and they seemed scared.

“But madam, sir said…we shouldn't let you overwork and…”

“He's not here right…so I'm going to cook,” Alana cut the lady off with a smile and got back to choosing what to cook. The two women were rendered speechless. Al
