Chapter 20. In No Time

“I can’t believe I married you”, were the words that left Kian’s mouth after I apologized. “You absolutely have no heart in you. I regret making you my wife”.

I laughed away the pain. “And you would have made her your wife instead?”, I say jabbing my finger at Caitlyn.

“Yes! Yes I would have made her my wife because I know she would never do what you did”.

She tried to kill my baby. The fuck she’s innocent

“She punched me. She even slapped me Kian!”.

Kian rolled his eyes. “As if a punch is worse compared to what you did. And Caitlyn is nice because she has decided not to have you arrested for assault”.

It’s my turn to roll my eyes. 

“Like I give a fuck about that”. I turned to the maids. “Now you listen to me. If you get in my way, you would end up like her or even worse. And you’re free to try and arrest me. I don’t care”.

But deep down I did, because most pregnant women don’t survive behind bars, let alone me with weak lungs.

“Yo
