Chapter 28. All Thanks to You
I wore a smile as I flip through the magazine pages. Some pages had a picture of me holding a scalpel, while the rest were photos of Kian and I kissing. Suddenly, the magazine is ripped out of my hands, and replaced with divorce papers. My eye immediately catches Kian's signature. My smile falters.
"In a hurry to divorce huh?".
He doesn't reply.
I stare hard and unblinking at the divorce papers I am holding. Had I really ended my marriage by myself? Our union has only lasted for seven months, so new, is just going to come to an end simply because I have a temper? How could this be so? He had eaten my quinoa, kissed me, and caressed my skin, so why this? I helped but his business back on track, earned him the people's favour once more and he still wants a divorce? If this was how we are going to end, why hadn't he said at the altar, 'until divorce, not death, do us apart?' Why is he causing me early grief?
